ReplyDeleteAnyway.. there are 3 new firmware for Onda Vi10 "DELUXE Edition" in official page onda.cn (android 4.0.3_v0.8 for V1,V2 and V5 tablets)
ReplyDeleteHi ColonelZap, can you post the score in Quadrant and tell me how mah is the battery? thanks
ReplyDeleteThe screen looks a little dim. How does the screen compare to ELF, or other similar tablets?
ReplyDeleteI don't have the ELF anymore to compare it to but you are right, I also have the FEELING that it's not quite as bright as some other tablets. On the other hand, I never use any tablets at the maximum brightness because that drains the battery much faster than a dimmed display.
Deletehi ColonelZap...i am a noob ...how to flash it's ?
ReplyDeleteyup,i would like to know this too. How do you go about "flashing" it? im new to the world of tablet and having a tab with no android market is frustrating. appreciate your help, thank u!
Deletehi ColonelZap.Im have the same problem. My Onda Vi10 .USB not working. But USB storage is working.I can copy or Move data normaly.
ReplyDeletehi, i have the same problem, i can`t connect any flash drives, or mouses or keyboards, does anybody know what is it?
DeleteThe screen it rubbish. Really disappointed. No contrast, dim and inaccurate colors.
ReplyDeleteAnyway my question is: I bought it to run the usb into the USB audio input (DAC) on my mixing desk. It doesn't work.
Do you know how to enable the USB audio device output on this device?
Re USB Audio:
ReplyDeleteI did some research and apparently Android v4.0.4 works!
Is there a 4.0.4 available for vi10j yet?
If not when?
dont know if this is the right post, I recently bought onda vi10 but been struggling how to update firmware:
ReplyDeletejust recently found a link:
http://blog.t-kstore.com/2012/03/11/new-android-4-0-3-firmware-released-for-onda-vi10-tablet-added-flash-player/
but doesn't know how to do it, found several steps but it doesnt work.
question though, does this software LiveSuit1.07 works on Windows 7 Home Edition?
Please badly needed some help. Thanks
if it's the vi10 elite, download the firmware from the link above and flash it using the included (in zip) LiveSuit.exe app on your PC. instructions appear on screen. I tried for ages til I pressed teh right buttons in the right order to enter flash mode but it worked. If it's not the elite model, just download teh firmware from the link provided at http://www.onda-tablet.com/download/
DeleteHi, possible to share on how you pressed the right buttons in the right order to enter the flash mode? Thank you.
