Thunderbird 4S rooting , Play Store, Calendar and Contact sync fix
...or how to add an Google account.
First of all, you phone needs to be rooted:
Download this:Thunderbird Root
Do NOT unzip it, copy it directly to your INTERNAL sd-card.
Your phone is off. Press and hold Vol(+) and Power, it will bring you into the recovery mode.
Select "apply update form sdcard"
Select the thunderbirdroot.zip
Reboot the phone.
It should now have the Super User App installed:
NOTICE!!!! For some reason the icon will NOT show up in the stock "iOS" launcher, but it will, if you have an additional launcher installed, for example the Launcher Pro
Fixing the Google Account, Play Store, Calendar and Contacts Sync:
Download the missing Google apps here: Missing Google apps
Use the ES File Explorer to copy the google apps to the "system/app" folder and change the permissions of the apps.
See this video for REFERENCE (skip the first 1,5 minute), this is a different phone but the procedure is the same:
Good luck and YOU ARE DOING THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
