Just a little demonstration of the Zopo
ZP100 Phone running a BETA Version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3.
Actually it wasn't that simple to get this running, because once you flash the
ICS firmware, the phone's IMEI is gone :-(
You need to start out with a ROOTED Gingerbread version, backup the Zopo Mobile Tool, also make a backup of the
Phone's IMEI using the Zopo Mobile Tool and copy both backups to the EXTERNAL
Then ROOT the phone again, using a script
especially made for rooting the ICS firmware. CLICK You phone must be ON, usb-debugging activated. Your phone NEEDS to be recognized as an ADB-DEVICE on your pc, or elese the rooting script won't work.
Install the Zopo Mobile Tool, copy your
IMEI backup to the INTERNAL sd card, run the Zopo Mobile Tool and restore the
IMEI from there.
That's it :-D
Please be careful, this can be very tricky, I had MAJOR problems rooting the phone with the script!!!
