Hello Colonel,Thanks a lot for your reviews, they're really helpfull! I want to order a new dual-sim smartphone from etotalk.com and I have a 200 dollar budget. From what I've seen and from your reviews I'm thinking on the ZOPO ZP100. Do you think it's the best choice or should I choose other phone? Thank you!
Hello! I write to you because i need to buy a smartphone dual sim wich also can work in the 3g networks of Argentina, where i live by the way,(because of that my bad english too). As far as i know the 3g networks of argentina operates in the bands 850 and 1900, and there are practically no phones with this feature. In the main page of fastcardtech, says that this phone operates 850 and 1900 3g networks, but i don´t know if it is a mistake or not, and the guys of fastcardtech, couldn´t answer it to me.Could you answer it to me? Or wich phone/phones may work in my area? Thanks in advancedPaulMac
Hi :-)I really can't tell you :-( All I can tell you that it works in Germany, you can find our 3G frequencies here:http://www.smsmich.de/Mobiles-Internet/umts-frequenzen.phpMaybe you can try to find out if your service provider operates on frequency within this range as well?
Hi! First of all, thanks for your reply. As far as i can see, Germany works with the bands 900 and 1800. May be in the box, or in the manual or may be in the battery or in the socket of the battery, says something about the bands of the phone. If you can look at this i will be very pleased. If not thanks anyway!PaulMac
Maybe this will help? I got this information from the engineer mode:http://i.imgur.com/KAJUP.jpg
you are a genius! Thanks! Is posible to select any of the options wich are disselected? Or it is fixed?or depends of the hardware? Thanks again!! PaulMac
It is fixed, you can only disable things there.
Hi Colonel Zap,A couple of questions:Why the unit you reviewed has a small black sticker in the central soft button position and what seems to be (not sure about this one) another one covering a great rea of the back cover?. I ask this because the pictures and videoos @ fastcardtech.com have stickers covering *exactly* the same areas. Also, do you know if the Android version can be upgraded to 4.0.x? The unit you received has 2.3 but the product page @ fastcardtech.com (including the purported system info screenshots) says it ships with 4.0.3.Thanks for your great reviews.
I see now what could be the reson for those stickers. This phone seems to have a case that is a clone of the real HTC Rezound LTE, even to the point of having the HTC logos in these places.Regarding the Android version, Fastcardtech says it ships with Android 4.0, the unit they sent you has Android 2.3 and the System Info screen of AnTuTu Tester in your review video shows Android 4.1.9 (!). I didn't know the manufacturer/firmware creator could trick AntuTu so easily with that bogus information. All in all, I'm not sure at all which is the real Android version this phone ships with/can support.
