    1. Hi :-) I don't know the one x pro, so I really can't tell you. The S3 PLUS is definitely a very good phone :-)

  4. Hello, this phone seems to be very impressive for the price! but is it exactly the same dimensions of the real iphone 5? this question is about the cases, leather cases, etc we could find on the net for the iphone 5. So are they compatible for this kind of accessories?

    Thank you

    1. Its little bit wider than iPhone 5, so iphone 5 hardcase wont fit, the headphone jack is located on the top rather than with the speakers at the bottom.

  6. Hi !

Couple of questions if you don't mind :
Is it possible to have a working google account on this phone, inclusive play store and a working google lattitude which would work without active gps ? Because out of the box, the thunderbird 4s didn't do google pay, and till today it still doesn't work well with lattitude. Does this clone suffer from the same problems ?

Thank you for reading and hopefully you find the time to answer these questions.

    Friendly Greetings

  11. Hi, ColonelZap! Do you have a 121010.ICS.V13.FWVGA.CN.COM.4P4.MT6628 firmware? I have an upsidedown camera and I'm trying to find any ideas how to solve it...

BTW, is it my phone suck, or does your rooting method break down integrated FM-Radio?

  12. Hi Colonel! Nice review! I've just bough this phone and used your root guide, everything worked fine! Just a question, there is a program to set cpu usage for the MTK6577 cpu? I remember that there is an app for the older processor (MTK655 i guess, it was an Unclemobile app) but I found nothing for this. Any help? thanks!

  14. Hi ColonelZap,
How can we change IMEI? Can you share software and tutorial ?

  15. Dear Col. Zap, on various Pages about the Hero phone they say it can stay between 3 to 4 days without charging. Is that calculated in Dual-Sim mode?
I horribly think of my Experience with the Huawei G6630 which was fine for 5 days (that what they said in the Description too, and what I would have aprechiated) without recharging but only with one sim inside. When I used booth it broke down after hardly 2 days.
Same bad surprise with this phone?

    1. Hi :-) I'm sorry but I really can't tell you. I never used this phone on a daily bases, I don't even have 2 sim cards. Just like any smartphone I would expect having to charge it every 1-2 days, depending on what you do with it. I'm sure you might get a longer standby time but you could also drain the batteries in a few hours, it really depends on how you use the phone.

    2. I use the phone with booth sim since the beginning of the year now. All is working fine. The Delivery from CECT-Shop worked well, it came about 10 days from order in fine condition. The GPS is working well too. The charging - the accu-pack came fully loaded. The first time it did stand 3 Days without charging. With all the testing and trying from me. Now nearly a month later it holds 4,5 day in moderate use. The Google Play Store loading, the Map and Navigation-Apps make it hungry. I like that you can turn off or on the Internet-Connection and the GPS-Feature as you need it. That saves energy too.

I was seeking for a good working Dual-Sim for such a long time. Now I have finally found, what I was looking for. And there is a good chance, that my Hero gets a partner - my mum also liked the Apperance and Handling :) It must be infectable ;) Hero-Fever :P :D

    1. Hi Ishmael,

I´m not the Colonel but as far as I know, the Hero is open to all providers. But the used sim has to be in Mini-Sim size (the biggest Variant used in Mobile Phones).

  17. you know where i can find one back cover with Apple logo?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi Anderson,

I´m not the Colonel but had the nearly same thougts in mind like you. The Original Backcovers for the IPhone 5 don´t fit the Hero because of a little bit different dimensions. It is a bit wider and thicker than the IPhone. But you can try to find a shop which can do a laser or sand engraving on the Backcover you got delivered with your phone. Maybe your local jeweler's shop can handle that.

    Good luck.
